Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite time of the year! Thanksgiving! I love getting together with family and just having a good time. BUT my favorite thing is baking :) Thanksgiving is a great time for me to get my creativity flowing!! Here is a Pumpkin Spice cupcake with cream cheese icing. The icing is sprinkled with cinnamon topped with a handmade little fondant turkey!!

Mario Birthday Cake & Divergent Inspired Cake

Hi All :) This was a fun weekend with loads of cake projects, birthday parties, and fun!! I started off the weekend making a cake for my awesome neighbor Ellen's birthday! She is really into the book series called Divergent by Veronica Roth. Since I had never read the book (or heard of it for that matter :P), I decided to use the cover of the book as inspiration for the design :) Inside was a superrrr delicious red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream icing.

The next cake for was a sweet 5 year old who loves Mario! This cake was a superrrrr delicious chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing.

Bubble Guppies Cake :)

Hi All! This cake was made for my 2 year old niece's birthday party. It is a Bubble Guppies themed cake with coordinating cupcakes! The inside of the cake was a rainbow pattern and the characters on the cake were made freehand with fondant :)
